Two close girlfriends fake their way to popularity by pretending to be gay

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Gosh!TV) 2014/1/14 -“I feel like for teenagers these days and for the MTV audience, the show is not going to be controversial,” says Faking It executive Producer Carter Covington. The show’s premise is the two female main characters pretend to be a lesbian couple to try to gain attention.
Faking It teens Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk) are almost sisters they’re so close to each other. They do everything together. Karma wants to leading a more exciting life. Her crazy plan, to pretending to be a lesbian to get attention. But, doesn’t that mean Amy is a lesbian too?
