Kevin Sorbo: Spokesperson for A World Fit for Kids
A World Fit for Kids charity event to help children stay healthy, happy and in school

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Gosh!TV) 2012/1/31 “We teach mentoring to teens to help the younger children in their communities, and we work with 12,000 kids in LAUSD, with a 98% graduation rate for our kids in a 52% drop out area,” says actor and author Kevin Sorbo. “Kids today start dropping out of school as young as 5th grade!”
Join Sorbo in raising funds for the charity he’s spokesman for, A World Fit For Kids! (WFIT). Enjoy appetizers, beverages, music and conversation while supporting a program to help kids stay in school and lead healthy, productive lives.
This event will be held in Los Angeles on February 8th from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm.
Location: The Los Angeles Athletic Club at 431 West Seventh Street in downtown L.A. Guests can get tours of the club. Tickets are $75 per person. All proceeds benefit WFIT to help provide funding for their successful mentoring and healthy behaviors programming and training for inner-city kids and families in L.A.

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Gosh!TV) 9/18/2011 – The HP TouchSmart Gift Lounge produced by On 3 Productions challenged celebrities to get the high score playing the video game Angry Birds on the HP Touchsmart PC. The gift lounge offered gifts to host Jane Lynch and presenters including Ashton Kutcher, Julianna Margulies and Sofia Vergara.
For every celebrity who stops by and plays, HP makes a donation to the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation. The celebrities’ scores are logged and they autograph their score.

MALIBU, CA (Gosh!TV) 8/29/2010 – The Malibu Bluffs Park was the site of the 6th Annual Miss Malibu Pageant, which took place Saturday, August 21, 2010. Thirty-two contestants were part of this year’s competition.
Twenty-six year old Erin White was crowned Miss Malibu 2011. Erin graduated from the University of North Carolina with a sports medicine and pre-med degree. But, she really wants to be an Oscar-winning actress. Erin also wants one day live in another country, own a farm, skydive and change someone’s life through one of her many philanthropic commitments.

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Gosh!TV) 8/15/2010 – “Everyday I wake up excited about the day, and every night I go to bed excited about tomorrow,” says Body by JAM Yogametrics instructor Jamie Alexandra Murphy. “I feel lucky to be doing what I love.”
“Yogametrics is a very dynamic form of yoga,” says Murphy. “With sequences of poses in movement, such as Dancing Warrior and Clockwork, designed to maximize the number of calories burned and evenly work muscles so that they appear longer. Unlike most types of yoga, Yogametrics is not contained to a 2×7 mat. There’s a lot of movement from one end of the rooftop to the other. I teach only private yoga lessons and classes at events for Tao Athletic Club.”
